for some reason, bashing the food at la fondas became the "cool thing to do" and everyone fell into it.

"oh I hate the food here, I just come to drink" is what some person must have said a long time ago, and then it just got repeated til it had a snowball affect.

my response is to learn what to order. there are many great things on (and off) the menu

Yes! Same sort of pizza as Pizza Village (thin floppy crust) but they just do it better. Hands down the best pizza anywhere.

To an out of towner though, I'd really recommend Deano's. You will probably not find another pizza anywhere that is as unique as Deano's and with the unique offerings that Deano's has.

I understand your position T-Bine. But the fact is there is really no place for a public discussion like this. I was able to communicate my displeasure with Fat Pat's & have one of their representatives address me publicly with class & make sure they are watching their quality control more closely in the future. A class move by a top notch restaurant. It give me an opportunity to go back & give them another try, and continue to be some of their best free advertising.
Prejean's on the other hand is too hollier than thou & won't come ona public forum like this & discuss how they've continually chipped away at the great quality that made them a first class world class establishment. When we didn't make any money, I always reserved special occasions for Prejean's. Now that I can go there whenever I want & certainly live close enough, I go to Fezzo's, or Don's because Prejean's has gone up,up,up on the price, and down, down, down on the quality. They are still making a living on their previous reputation. And it doesn't just hurt them, it hurts the reputation of every other business in this community as perceived by outsiders & tourist who make travelling stops here. And that is money out of everyone else's pocket, especially since they are the first known place people see when coming into Lafayette.

Don't try to bring in anyone under 21. Or be prepared to get tossed out.

Yeah. His daughter owns it I think. Leave it up to Red to be genius. Keep the biggest fat shop in town going that serves the best ice cream & malts in the world & at the same time have the best gym in the country to work it off. Kind of like the Rothchilds. They've been accused of financing both sides of every war since Cane Slew Abel.
