Walk-Ons in Lafayette will unfortunately be very LSU heavy. I mean the dang place was founded by LSU basketball benchwarmers after all.

Has no one eaten a Real Jule and a side of onion strings from Julien's......or if you want nationwide but still good, there's mcalisters on Kaliste saloom. I like Tokyo Live for Japanese. For homemade pizza, the Pizza Village south on Kaliste Saloom though I'm more partial to Deano's.. The Ground Pati is good and I'm getting addicted to Izzo's illegal Burritos. Coyote Blues and Agave are good spots.. Petes on Johnston....

If you're going for bang for your buck, just buy the large draft beers at Buffalo Wild Wings. Walkons' food is ok, I like their grilled buffalo chicken wrap.

Bulldog visitors. Do yourself a favor and try some of our local beers. Canebrake from Parish Brewing is my personal favorite but their SouthCoast amber and Envie IPA are worth a try as well.
The food at Walkons is marginal but the beer selection is first rate.
Also you must get boudin balls(not the kind you would get at 4 Corners) from Billys or Best Stop.

Follow the recommendations posted earlier and you will be fine. If there is one thing you can do in Lafayette is eat and drink and be merry. Well I guess thats three.
    Safe travels

I think the Kaliste Ground Pati mercifully closed. I guess I need to try Juliens.
