    1. Some of our guys that are ineligible to play until after the semester didn't see the floor last night. Does anyone know if they could have played because it was an exhibition, but didn't because Lee didn't want to put them in? I know that they are practicing with the team, so to me, they would be able to participate in preseason games.

    2. There were two 3-pt lines on the court last night. Anyone know the story with that? it looked like the outer one was about a foot or so outside the regulation line. Is the NCAA thinking about extending the line?

    Also, I was looking at the Box Score, and noticed that we shot the ball pretty well last night.

    FG's = 48.4%
    3pt's = 27.3%
    FT's = 70.4%

    Granted it was against lesser competition, but that's not too bad for the first exhibition game of the year. _
    The NCAA moved the mens 3 point line back a foot. I think its now the same as international play. I wish they would have moved the womans too because I don't like the look of two lines.

    I'm pretty sure they cannot play in exhibition games. The NCAA treats them like real games for eligibility purposes, I believe.

    That's right. I remember now, isn't that why Adiefe (I think) only has less than one year with us...because he played in an exhibition game with UNLV last year. And that was the same thing that I think happened with Mitchell, but he was able to get his year back.

    I have to think the two lines were there because the women played first but I don't know if they have a different three point line or not.

    Shooting was not our problem. It was just getting into a flow and bringing in yet another couple of new players to work into a large rotation. Its going to take some time for us to get that chemistry because we play so many players but shooting is not something we are going to be void of this year which is why it was so important to get a good post presence. Bloom, Daigle, Bureau all shot the ball well and Gary was everywhere really getting to the glass and creating a lot of nice shots.

    McCoy looked a little out of sorts last night but I think he will get mor comfortable. It was interesting seeing Daigle start with McCoy in the backcourt. Interesting to see if that will be a routine thing or only until Gradnigo comes back.
