  1. Default NCAA does right by Tigers, Cajuns by keeping them separated

BATON ROUGE – Home for summer. School's out. And as far as LSU and Louisiana are concerned, so are the other 56 teams in the NCAA baseball playoffs. For the first time, No. 8 national seed LSU (44-14-1) and No. 6 national seed UL (53-7) each received a ...

A really well written parallel path story.

Comparing the rivalry to Alabama Auburn. WOW. Shhhhhh. We are nothing. We will never be anything. We suck at everything. We are a non factor.
    Keep on Ragin' Cajuns!

Not really if you compare it to the multiple threads regarding UL on your home board. You guys sure love to "not care" about us.

+1. Glenn Guilbeau has been given a good bit of grief (some deservedly) over the years. This is a very positive story for both programs.

I thought it was well written and provided input from both teams. It was more about Louisiana "the state" winning overall. You can tell how much I care for LaState, but being noticed as a equal is our first step to getting out of a shadow. Even my neighbor who pitched for LaState in the early 80's watched and kept track of UL baseball and softball. People are noticing, no matter what "Earl the Pearl" says!
