Recruiting Question - RB

_ Why shouldn't we try. We have the most potent offense in the nation right now. I am not taking away from any current, previous, or future recruit but why can't we look at the best RB recruit in the nation? If he is close to his brother, maybe there is an outside shot. Heck, maybe his parents want him close to his older brother??? I thought it was very interesting about the connection. Has he ever visited campus? to see his brother? been by the complex? attended a game? JMO. thx for all the info so far from the guys "in the know". _

Yea I mentioned Richardson in some other recruiting thread a week ago. I really highly doubt we could get a 5 star RB, but it doesn't hurt to offer. Honestly, it would never happen though.

Wiltz and Walker are the 2 guys that we should be hoping for and I'm sure we will get one or both. Walker being the top rusher in the state right now.

But UL should still offer him. It would look very cool when everyone sees the big schools that are recruiting him and to also have to mention Louisiana. All of this would certainly help the perception of our recruiting and show that we are not afraid to recruit 5 star talent.

This was taken from DandyDon.com. My question is UL recruiting this RB? and if so what are our chances. If he is close to his brother and we are WINNING, we should have a shot at this kid. Especially with the fact of all the records FENROY has broken. It shows a recruit he CAN EXCEL with the CAJUNS.

I read that the other day and was wondering the same thing. I think we have a leg to stand on with Richardson. We have a runningback that just broke a monumental NCAA record, and will be drafted to the NFL (Pending combine). We can sell him as the next Tyrell Fenroy.

We don't really have a chance at all, but we could try.....

Young Rick I look at some of these recruiting sights and I know that the kids are cosidering us and we are not mentioned!!!! No harm in saying he was on an unofficial visit ----through the years we have seen the value of staying very close to guys who later rebound---Roy Henry--Keith Walker and more!!!!!

He has had an offer I believe sense he came to camp here as a Jr. Cajun T is much better to answer that.
