Will our score board be bricked-in, or is it finished now?
Will our score board be bricked-in, or is it finished now?
I was going to offer my 5 tickets to MissState fans for their Friday night game...but, based on their arrogance, I'm keeping em.
The NCAA should form the brackets with attendance in mind? For baseball? These people are a piece of work.
I wouldn't mind if the UL ticket office could/would sell GA tickets to the non-UL game(s) ... they can sit in any seat UNLESS that seat holder shows. I know I won't be out there Friday at 1 to sell my tickets and I'm not going to the game. There's no since letting there be an empty stadium.
These people are acting like this is their first ever regional, and they have no idea how it works.
First, ticket booklets are sold for the entire regional. Then, if any tickets remain, single game tickets are offered.
Most places, there are plenty of single game tickets. Lafayette is not one of those places.
The NCAA doesn't Hail State or make special accomodations to keep them from regionals because they have a lot of fans to travel with.
This regional will be run the way all the other 15 will be run. It's just that after regional ticket booklets are sold, there won't be any seats left. Boo hoo.
Hey Redbug, this is well done! A model for Ragin' Cajuns on how to act on other teams' forums and on social media. Clinic.
"ScoobaDawg is right, just chill for a minute. We had what we thought was the same situation at the LSU Regional last year. But we just "showed up" and there were tickets all over the place. People are very friendly in Lafayette, someone may even just give you tickets; especially for the games that UL is not playing in. I know I'll be giving some away. (the stadium can hold about 4200 by the way)
Don't sweat it, we're cool here. Just ask the Miss. St people that were here for the Softball Regional a couple weeks ago. That was sold out too and everyone still got in.
Have a good time in Lafayette. It's better than Baton Rouge.......I promise "
I hate to tell them...even if we had double our capacity, they would still only get 200 tickets because I believe we would sell it out regardless. I know there will even be cajun fans unable to go to the games because of lack of available tickets, so they really need to stop playing the victim.
It is time to use this showcase to get behind redoing Tigue Moore... NOW - not 10 years from now. Coach Robe and the baseball program DESERVE a first class facility... as do the fans.
Oh, I guess Cowbell U folks would rather be in a larger stadium like the box in BR...and still only be alotted 200.
