WHAT?! Covered our guys more than any other team. Rob interview was outstanding. Pimped the ENTIRE athletic program with mentions of football, basketball, tennis, and ladies in WCWS. Had an LSU guy all but slobbering over our ball club. We play Friday, in a winnable regional.
And I'm telling you guys right now, Ole Miss doesn't get out of that regional alive. Just watch..
Nothing to complain about.. The fun starts now
SDSU definitely can. They were something like 10-8 vs RPI top 50, they have the ability to knock them off before MSU even gets to us. As for who we have, we could beat Jackson state with pretty much anyone, but problem is, I also don't want to take the chance especially because just about every team has one arm that can throw a gem. I have no doubt, game 1, we're throwing Aut.
Best year ever, and second is not even in the neighborhood.
Lets put a cherry on this year.

Here's the complete bracket and schedule........Note our name per ESPN website!!! I think they got the message!!
I'm not on twitter, but I'm sure there are some reactions to the news. Anyone like to share? Had Hud, Marlin, mike, etc had anything to say?
Just Food for thought.
RPI's of regional opponents
UL - 5
Mississippi State - 30
SDSU - 36
Jackson State - 269
By basketball terms, we basically drew one of the easiest 16 seeds. And FWIW, judging by RPI, Mississippi State and SDSU are essentially 8+9 seeds. It seems like they actually treated us more like a #1 seed than a #2 seed. (again keep in context, this is using NCAA basketball bracket type breakdown of the regional, so no one is confused.)
By comparison, LSU got the top #2 in the country, a Bryant team with an RPI of 47, and an SLU team with an RPI just inside the top 75. LSU has a harder task in front of them than we do.
