MOBILE, Ala. — The Sun Belt Conference baseball tournament turned out the same way as the league’s regular season — with Louisiana-Lafayette as the champion.

The Ragin’ Cajuns followed their dominant regular season in which they finished first by seven games with their first Sun Belt tournament title since 1998. They finished an undefeated four-game run in the tournament with a 6-5 victory against No. 2 seed Texas-Arlington on Sunday afternoon at Stanky Field.
