Thread: Louisiana to play Kentucky in WCWS

Default Louisiana to play Kentucky in WCWS

Bring on the Wildcats. They finished 41-21 overall and 13-11 in the SEC east, good for second to last place in that division. They finished last in batting average in the SEC coming in at .267. They finished last in the SEC in fielding percentage at .958. Their team era is 2.74. Their ace, Kelsey Nunley, finished 27-11 with a 2.14 era. Not saying it's going to be a cakewalk, but I'm confident. They did, after all, just beat UCLA's Carda 7-1. Carda may win player of the year.

Looks like they had a good few weeks opening the year. Beat Texas twice, Oklahome oncebeat some west coast teamsinjuries maybe.to have the sort of stats that Roarman put down and to have started out the year like this, any ideas?

Take it to the bank the Cajuns will be champs of Kentucky before we complete the national championships run. We took care of WKU, and now the Cats are next.

By the way, did anyone feel like Texas, and Arizona were a lot easier to beat than USA. I sure did.

Better not sleep on Kentucky. Been one of SEC's up and comers for couple of years and to go to Los Angeles and overcome a 1-0 deficit and beat UCLA twice in a row on its home field is you need to know about how they're playing right now.

Agreed. I only caught them during the UCLA series, but they looked pretty good. Their loss in G1 appeared to be more from mental/communication issues in the outfield than lack of talent.

They actually dominated all but one inning of game 1, too. Still. I'm pretty stoked about our chances.
