In preparation for our softball team, I made this today. I like the theme, I'm just not sure how much I like the formating. I'd appreciate any comments. And I would like to do something like this for every sport, I just haven't found any good pictures to use. (haven't really had time to look).

I'm looking forward to it. I've covered Lady Cajun softball before, but this is my first year of covering it on a daily basis.

 #5 UL's trip to the Women's College World Series and historic win over No. 1 seed and then-unbeaten Florida last season has Ragin' Cajun softball fans itching for an encore.

The parts seem to be in place for another exciting run as the No. 6-ranked Lady Cajuns return all three starting pitchers and seven position players from last year's 52-15 squad.

Those parts will be on display at 4:30 p.m. today at Lamson Park as the Lady Cajuns open the 2009 season with a three-game series against Ole Miss.
