 COLUMBUS, Ga.- Louisiana’s start time at the 2009 NFCA Leadoff Classic will be postponed until 3:00 p.m. (Central).

The Lady Cajuns were scheduled to play No. 18 Northwestern at 10:00 a.m. but travel for the Wildcats was delayed and caused the game to be postponed.

Louisiana will now open the tournament against Georgia Tech at 3:00 p.m. (Central) and take on Northwestern in a game slated to begin at 5:30 p.m.

The remainder of the tournament for the Ragin’ Cajuns will commence as planned.

Why does every thread turn into "here's something else that sucks, that has nothing to do with what this thread is about? How about we discuss the cajuns softball on the field (preferably as it relates to rising 4 spots in the polls)? Start your own thread if you want to gripe about unrelated crap, will you? Hey, congrats to the lady cajuns, who just swept UCLA to win the national championship! Yeah, but the jerseys were lame. Didn't say "Louisiana" in bold enough letters. OK. I'll refer to us as the rest of the country does since that doesn't seem to bother you. On a positive note, today's Advertiser showed profiles of teams within our bracket at the NFCA. You will note that Louisiana-Lafayette has winning records vs. Northwestern, DePaul and Florida State. UL L's records against these schools, plus Michigan are:

UL L vs. Northwestern - 1-0
UL L vs. DePaul - 2-0
UL L vs. Florida State - 3-0
UL L vs. Michigan - 1-2

Pretty darn good against BCS competition.
