That's a curve. Slider has a similar grip, but the only difference is you don't whip your wrist with the slider like you do a curve. A slider, you just hold with that grip but throw like a fast ball.
This is also the grip of a two-seam fastball ... same arm slot as well.
Also, some throw the curve (I did) by spiking their index finger knuckle into the ball while their middle finger rides the seam. This results in a sharper break (but harder to command) ... especially on the 12-6 variety.

Slider… if that was a 2 seam fastball the fingers would be slightly more spread...
That's what I was about to say, when I would throw my 2-seem fastball my fingers would not be touching. But man that's the beauty of baseball and pitching.... and why so many pitchers throw the same pitches completely different from one another. Everybody has their own way of tweaking their grip on certain pitches.
