There's now an interesting situation in the ACC tournament. With Georgia Tech's 3-0 win over Clemson, they are tied with the Tigers at 2-1. If Duke beats Miami tomorrow morning, all three will be tied at 2-1. The tiebreak goes to Duke for the following reason:

"a) The team with the best overall conference winning percentage in regular season play will advance."

Duke had a 16-14 conference record, Clemson 15-14, Georgia Tech 14-16. If Miami wins, Georgia Tech, the #9 seed, goes to the championship.

Now the other side of the equation: With Virginia's win over North Carolina tonight, Maryland is locked into the championship game. The #1 & #3 ranked teams in the rpi won't be in their conference's championship game.

It would be nice to have Oklahoma eliminate Oklahoma State from the Big XII Tournament tonight. Oklahoma leads Oklahoma State 6-5 T6th ... with a Cowboy runner at 3rd base and no outs.

And with Washington's 3-0 loss to UCLA tonight, Oregon State wins the PAC 12 championship.
