Who do we pull for between NSU and SLU? Is it a wash? They play this afternoon.

Maryland is up on Florida State 4-0 in the 6th. They also defeated Virginia yesterday. Why is this of importance?

Because they are about to overtake Alabama for 24th in the RPI, which would put Alabama sitting at 25 with no games left to play and no control over their destiny. WE NEED ALABAMA TO STAY IN THE TOP 25

SLU is around 91 so fairly solid inside the Top 100. NSU is 116 so pretty much outside Top 100. I'd say it's pretty much a wash. Maybe it's possible for NSU to win out and get in.

If Maryland wins this game, it looks like it will be #5 Clemson playing #6 Maryland in the ACC Championship game. #1 Miami, #2 Virginia, #3 Florida State and #4 Duke will be blocked out.

More help might be coming as McNeese State RPI 144 is ahead on TAMU-CC RPI 109 2-1 in the 2nd inning. If they can pull off a win and stay solidly in the Top 150 again more help in keeping our RPI up, considering we beat Mickyneese twice.

Every little bit helps. The SLC is helping the Cajuns quite nicely so far.
