At this point yes. Although LSU losing will affect the Cajuns' RPI in a small negative way ... I would rather ensure that the Cajuns finish ahead of LSU in the RPI. A Cajun loss tomorrow and a couple of LSU wins ... and that might not happen (but still could). TCU, same thing. The worst case RPI ranking I see for the Cajuns is likely #10 ... as Rice would need a lot to fall in their favor to catch the Cajuns.
If Connecticut beats Temple today, Houston is finished in the AAC Tournament (loses the tiebreaker in their Pool to Connecticut). Thus, Houston would not be able to catch the Cajuns.

Warren Nolan and Boyd have received some criticism in the past because their RPI calculations were at times well off ... resulting in several ranking spots in some cases. But when the RPI formula was changed for 2013 to remove the RPI Top 25/50/75 and RPI Bottom 75/50/25 bonuses and penalties, the RPI became much simpler to calculate. Now the only thing they are missing are the non-D1 game penalties (max games allowed exceeded as well as losses) and in the case of Boyd, tie games. While the actual RPI calcs are a little off on Warren Nolan due to some erroneous game results here and there, the rankings are very close ... if not exact at times.

If the Cajuns win tomorrow, it is not an issue. The Cajuns would be a lock for a Top 8 RPI.
There are also two teams in front of the Cajuns that could drop with losses ... Indiana and Florida State (though Florida State may not drop much ... or at all with a loss to Virginia). So, the Cajuns could conceivably finish as high as #3 ... provided Oregon State does not pass the Cajuns by winning their final two games vs. USC. The Cajuns could still possibly finish ahead of Oregon State in that scenario.
That is how fluid this is ...

Oh no need to explain, I've been a Warren Nolan follower for years. I was simply stating how ridiculous Karl's comment was that he was trying to downplay WarrenNolan.com. He clearly had never even heard of it before and that's why he had no clue as to what he was talking about.
