Maryland is up on Florida State 4-0 in the 6th. They also defeated Virginia yesterday. Why is this of importance?

Because they are about to overtake Alabama for 24th in the RPI, which would put Alabama sitting at 25 with no games left to play and no control over their destiny. WE NEED ALABAMA TO STAY IN THE TOP 25

SLU is around 91 so fairly solid inside the Top 100. NSU is 116 so pretty much outside Top 100. I'd say it's pretty much a wash. Maybe it's possible for NSU to win out and get in.
