This is a total guess on my part but I could easily see Miss State as the #2 in our regional, esp if LSU hosts their own

Mississippi State is a #2 seed right now and doing just fine in the SEC Tournament. Texas is a very strong #2 seed, pining for a #1 seed.

If Texas is a #2 seed, I hope they go to Rice.
