I am new to the board and I am sure there is a more appropriate place to ask so my apologies in advance.

I will be traveling through Lafayette later this week and hoped to pick up a sack of crawfish. Does anyone have a place they recommend buying from?

Just yesterday I called to check for some live crawfish for this weekend. Chez Francois Seafood quoted me $60.00 per sack for Medium and $75.00 for Large. The Fruit Stand in Breaux Bridge was $65.00 a sack for Medium and $85.00 for Large.

There's a small place selling boiled crawfish on HWY 339 just south of the hwy 93 roundabout. They had a sign saying sacks were $40, but didn't say the size of the sack or crawfish.

if your driving through, stop off in crowley somewhere, all those farmers will have sacks or know where to get them
