Man, WKU's catcher just gave them a gift. Should have ended the game, that ball was not deep enough to get a run home.

Yup, that was rushed. The runner had no shot and the catcher couldve order a pizza before having to make the tag. That said, i still think the catcher shouldve held on to the ball.

I didn't get a chance to catch the replay but it looked like the throw was in plenty of time and accurate enough that the catcher should have never dropped it. That would have been a great way to end the game.

I've heard announcers that couldn't wait to leave. But I've never heard them mention it 3 times in the bottom of the 9th of a game whose outcome is still in doubt.

You've got to be furious if you're WKU. You had it won, now have spent your starter and are in to your bullpen in a game that you now might not win.
