We'd see Nola in Game 2 of that regional. You can bet your backside that LSU would hold him back and throw someone else against Dallas Baptist.

Baranik vs his former school would make for an interesting storyline. Especially after he throws a gem and shoves it up their rears!

That Rice regional would be brutal

We probably wouldn't pitch Austin versus Canisius.

If lsu&a&mc@br doesn't throw Nola against Dallas Baptist, they won't be playing us in game 2.

I agree. I believe they would throw Nola against Dallas Baptist. This is the perk of being a number one seed vs number two seed. With that being said, however, I think LSU will be hosting.

Maneiri doesn't do crap like that. Nola will start Game 1 regardless of opponent.

If we have to face LSU, this is probably our best shot at Omaha.

Though I'm not scared of anyone, facing Nola in a super regional is NOT preferable to (maybe) game 2 of a regional.

The thing is: in a regional, you can throw your top guy and hope your offense gets on fire early. If they do, you can yank your starter and save him for a possible reappearance in the Monday if necessary game. If it's not necessary, the point is moot.
