Does anyone know why the softball cameras are so much better than the ones at the Tigue? Maybe it's because I've only seen games on ESPN for softball but they are way better.

I would hope ESPN will bring some down for the regionals.

ESPN is filming the regional at Lamson in high definition. KLAF is, well... not.

When KLAF broadcasts softball, they use the same cameras they're using now at the Tigue.

ESPN is broadcasting the softball - not simulcasting someone else's broadcat. ESPN's cameras, graphics, announcers, and production crew.

Each network has their own set of cameras.

Obviously, the quality of ESPN's will be much higher than that of KLAF's.
