I was listening to the game on the radio and heard Stevie say that it had to be a sellout and that he didn't see any seats left in the Park... I wonder if that discouraged a few who might have made the trip out to Lamson.

As it was, I already had my tickets and arrived in the middle of the game... I checked with the box office out of curiosity and they said they still had tickets to sell... NO SELL-OUT.

There were plenty of scattered empty seats available in the Grandstand (presumably no-shows)...

They could have easily packed another 200-300 in tonight. The row I was sitting on in the bleachers had 5 total people on. Had room for plenty more.

So we go 4300+ at the Tigue and what was the Lamson count??? for a total of ??? watching UL games about 300 yards from each other!! This is quite impressive and I do hope that we are getting photos of the crowds and that if the Texas and MSU ADs are here that we make an impression that is totally non BS!!!

I would like to find out from Mike what pitches were being called when Jordan went in. Of the three batters she walked, EVERY pitch was low and inside. It's like she...or whoever was calling them...was determined to get that pitch called a strike, but the umpire wasn't giving it. I just kept waiting for a different location...but she wouldn't budge from that pitch. It was frustrating to watch.

I agree. The ump was very consistent and you weren't getting anything off the plate but a good bit of latitude vertically. I have to believe she just didn't have command and was having difficulty getting it back over the plate.

I just didn't know what to think. Since EVERY pitch was to that EXACT same spot, I was tempted to conclude that it was as much stubbornness as it was a lack of control.

Well there is stubbornness and then there is stupidity. I just have a hard time believing she intentionally walked three batters thinking she was eventually going to get that call. Now maybe she was just trying to inch it in a little bit and kept missing but this is Texas Southern and we have a six run lead. Toss a few big fat ones across the plate and make them hit it.

We need the bats to stay alive because I think we will need them.

I think your statement..."Now maybe she was just trying to inch it in..." is what was happening. She just kept trying to get that call. Frustrating to watch...especially with a nice lead.

Its no secret that Jordan is having issues...Jordan parents are on this site and to post a picture of that shows no class on your part, this kid has done a lot for this program!

I think EVERYONE on this site is behind Jordan 110%. I truly believe that her best is yet to come - and the last two years were phenomenal.
