Heads up as I haven't seen it in DA yet but out for public consumption. Col. Charles "Chuck" DeBellevue will be honored as our Outstanding Alum for 2008 at Homecoming next week. Leading Ace in 'Nam; Air Force Cross; three Sliver Stars, etc. etc. Super guy, humble, young USAF officers revere him, including my youngest son who is Major in Air Force. He'll be introduced at halftime and gets to ride in H/C parage. Tell him hi.

He was in AFROTC at UL in 60s; Physics major; Lambda Chi Alpha (whoopee!). Did great work post Katrina/Rita helping get assistance to LA.
