I'm all for Milhorn coming back strong next season, but at this point, I don't think he deserves any more chances. I mean, he's lost his mojo plain and simple.

That being said, hell of a way to fight back and nice offensive performance. Greg Davis is pooping on balls right now.

Between our new scoreboard and jerseys tonight, must have called her name police friends on speed dial. Figure just like first set of games with hoax, the other two will be blowouts.

Was tied up with work, did PA cave tonight to name police?

Wilson was fired up. After the last out, he pumped his fist and hummed his glove towards the dugout. I love seeing stuff like that.

Did we tone down the "Louisiana" at the ball park to accomodate our guests?

Only a man of Al Bundy's outstanding taste could conjure up such humor.

Really appreciate going through these threads & getting everyone's takes on the action as it happens. Sounds like Milhorn needs to take some rest & may work as middle relief only as needed. But he gave the Cajuns some great innings this season standing in the gap for the other guys. They couldn't get that national seed without him. What a ball club!

Let's not forget the screw job attempted on us AGAIN. If these umpires don't know the implications of the outcome of this weekend, heads need to roll. That play at first base was atrocious. I don't mind if he missed it. It happens. But to stand there and refuse to ask for help is ridiculous. You have a 22-32 team playing for a berth in the tournament. I understand. But you have a chance to have a national seed out of the Sunbelt and that crap happens. If he was so confident, walk over to the home plate umpire and tell him you are 100% sure you got it right. Don't refuse to even ask. With what Tony has gone through this year, he at least deserved that courtesy.

Am I wrong, or did the first bas ump have a bad angle on it? i.e. he was facing the first baseman, not looking at a side view where he could see if the foot stayed on the bag.

It seemed to me he was out of position. If that's true, it's pretty sad he couldn't ask for help.
