After watching that game, boy did the Panther's look bad. Jake looked okay, but as a team, they didn't look good at all. The Pats blocked TWO FG's! I'm not worried about them this year...
There are a lot of things wrong with the Panthers , but Delhomme ain't one . And if it comes to Carr , then their season is pretty much over .have you seen that dude throw the ball ? I'm no expert on QB throwing mechanics but something is off in the way he throws the ball ..i just can't place my finger on it . And people talk about Delhomme being on the hot seat , what about John Fox ? All those ridiculous quarterback draws on third and long ...blech .

I was responding to a mentioned Louisiana animosity toward the Manning family... and all I've ever heard negative about them was that they did not play for LSU....
Which I've heard repeatedly from my LSU friends...
Hate may have been a Strong word, by not totally inaccurate in a lot of cases.
Your “LSU friends” need to wake and smell the coffee. Archie’s boys might have played their hi school ball in N.O., but no way they were going to play their college ball at LSU. When Archie was in hi school and college, there was no bigger match in the season than when those two squared off. The Rebs might have excused Peyton going to Tennessee, but going to LSU…never.
Most of my LSU friends passed that stone longgggggggg ago. There may be a tad of remaining disappointment, but “hate”…not hardly.
Passing a stone! Ouch! Archie has done very good for himself in New Orleans. He is better set than many athletes in his day. As far as what college his sons should have went to is a personal decision. I like the fact the Eli went to old Miss in the old man shoes. I never expected them to go to LSU. I don't understand the god like status he has in NOLA.
In the 1st quarter there were MANY dropped passes. As previously stated, there are problems with the Panthers but Delhomme is not one of them. There O-line for instance....yeesh!

That's really too bad. I was hoping that at least someone in the NFC South would provide some competition for the Saints.
Boy oh boy, it might not be THAT big of a deal that Mike McKenzie and Fred Thomas are still in the Saints' D-Backfield. Two games against the Buc's with Jeff Garcia or Chris Simms, two games against Champagne Joey and the Falcons, and two games against Carr and the Panthers. This might not be so bad afterall.
