I don't think Jake would be OK with carrying a clipboard on the sideline for the next 3 or 4 years. I think he'll retire while he's still close to the top of his game. You can hang around for too long in the NFL. Look at Joe Montana's years in KC, Stabler's at NO, Archie's at Minn., etc.
jake is not near the top of his game, he got beat out by a rookie in houston last year.

Would you be being fair if it wasn't jake? Jake had a good run but hasn't been very good in a few years. Regardless, a playoff contender trusted a rookie more than a veteran who played in a Super Bowl, colt McCoy and Matt Moore both just lost their jobs to rookies 2 weeks into training camp. Jake is no where near the top of his game, it's not a knock on the man, he's getting old, it happens even to the best.
