Will I support the panthers if Vick is the QB, heck yea, that is now my team, but having Vick as my QB would frustrate the heck out of me. With that said, I'm fairly confident that he won't be wearing a Panthers Jersey next year. If Moore had played poorly down the stretch, there would be a good chance of it, but with how well he played, the Panthers are more likely to spend money in free agency to get a WR instead of throwing more money at a bad QB. Besides, Jerry Richardson has a history of avoiding truly troubled players and I don't that hes gonna be willing to pay that much money on a player with as much baggage as Vick has (and thats a truck load). Look for the Panthers to look for a QB somewhere in the middle of the draft to be the #3 QB behind Delhomme and Moore, and possibly to be groomed for the future if Moore fails next season.
I don't even know if Delhomme can beat out Moore this year for starter, so I don't see him staying with Carolina on his current contract. I think Jake is done in Carolina, maybe period.
I don't know about his ability to beat out Moore either, he has really lost something since his surgery. With that said, I don't think they will cut him for next season, he is owed to much money, and has to much knowledge of the offense, that it would be dumb for them to cut him. After next year though, his guaranteed amount goes down significantly, so if he doesn't win the starting job, look for him to be cut after next season. I also don't foresee too many teams jumping through hoops to get him either, and I think that if he doesn't get a starting job offer, he'll probably retire.
Perhaps a change will be good for Jake. I imagine he will be a backup somewhere now.

He doesn't want to be a backup. He would rather hang em up and tend to his horses.
