Close your eyes and think of Jake Delhomme. What do you imagine? His glorious fourth quarter against the Patriots in Super Bowl XXXVIII, where he threw for 211 yards and two touchdowns to tie New England with 1:08 left, only to lose on a field goal and be overshadowed by the infamous "wardrobe malfunction"? Or do you see his cash for clunker performance last year when he threw five interceptions in the Carolina Panthers' 33-13 playoff loss at home to Arizona?

... last year. After driving the team for a TD on the game's first series, he has imploded, giving up 4 INT's, and losing a fumble for a TD. After going up 7-0, the panthers have been outscored 38-3.

As bad as Jake did, Brandon Stokley caught an amazing game winning tipped pass. Its a highlight you will be seeing all night tonight.
Sorry for Jake. What a great representative of our school and region. Perhaps it is time for him to retire. I still think he would be an awesome backup QB anyplace in the league. I don't see much of a future as a starter left for him in Carolina. How many Cajun QB's have been to the Superbowl?
