If Jake stays, we never bring in Brees. Argue all you want, but I'll take Brees over Jake right now. Jake's superbowl team was loaded with talent, unlike the Saints up until a couple years ago. No one knows what would've happened if Jake stays. I personally don't think he would've gotten to a superbowl. I'm a Saints fan first and always will be, and if it takes Jake having a bad game for the Saints to win this weekend, so be it.

In the end Hasletts bone-headed move may have helped the Saints franchise. If Jake had played he may still be with the Saints...and maybe someone like the Panthers would have Brees. Right now, no sane person would trade Brees for any player in the NFL.
We all love Jake, but he is not in the same class as Brees (only a handfull are). Brees decision making and accuracy are truely mind boggling and he has established himself as a true ambassador for the NFL. No one knows who has the better team, but everyone knows who has the better QB.

Just looked at ESPN's Studs and Duds.
One QB was paired with Peyton Manning, the other with JeMarcus Russell. I will take the one paired with Manning.
