That was impressive for sure. I certainly hope the Panthers win the NFC south and go all the way. It would be nice to get Jake back to the Super Bowl.

As far as the team from New Orleans. I gave up on them 20 years ago and haven't looked back.

That's fine. Just don't get on people when they give up on the Cajuns because they are losing.

College Football and pro football are two different things. If you are an alum you should always support your college team. While pro football is bigger business and they are doing it for a living. There is no excuse for bad pro football but it happens either because of bad management or bad management providing bad coaching.

The other good thing about the Panthers/Skins game was Joe Theismann was doing the color commentating for the game (NFL Network used the Skins broadcast). By the middle of the second quarter Theismann was just beside himself. It was painful for him to watch and broadcast. I loved every minute of it.

It truly doesn't matter to me whether its pro or college. Being a fan is simple. You support your team or institution no matter what. When things go bad, can you become angry and frustrated? Of course (see last years UL team especially against McNeese). But it doesn't mean you abandon your loyalties just because they don't win as much as you'd like. I'm not judging. I'm just saying you are a bandwagon fan and there are tons in all sports (LSU). That means, when the Cajuns start really turning the program around, you're going to see sellouts and tickets harder to come by and more apparell sales... Why? Bandwagon fans will buy into what is happening and lend their support.

And, that is a good thing!

All these people who are now supporting the Panthers (when they used to support the Saints) are the definition of bandwagon fans.

    GEAUX SAINTS!

Let me guess, Joe T tossed the word great around. In college we used to play a game where we had to drink a beer every time Joe said "Great". We were usually incoherent by half time.
I love Jake and hope he has a "Great" season, but I hope the Saints beat them.
