z, you remember 'the real mccoy's?' grandpa [walter brennan] had to sign something; the official asked "can you sign your name"? taking umbrage, grandpa said "of course!" he took the pen and, in two big flourishes, made swipes forming an X. i laughed as a kid and i know i'd laugh now if i saw it again.
I remember the Real McCoys in name only. I certainly remember Walter Brennan. I am more of the Courtship of Eddies Father, Love American Style, Room 222, vintage.....Mannix, Hawaii 5-0, Streets of San Francisco...all awesome.
I figure you might have me by 2-3 years, SSM.

CHARLOTTE -- If you visit training camp later this summer and you see quarterback Jake Delhomme wince a little after a day's worth of throws, don't worry.
Odds are, he has a sore right arm. And that's perfectly normal.
"At training camp, we all know it's going to be back-to-back-to-back (practices), and there will be soreness," Delhomme said as he left the practice field following Carolina's final summer-school session. "If there isn't soreness somewhere in my arm, then I'm probably not putting enough effort in, because that's training camp; I will have some soreness.
"But if it's just normal soreness and not pain, then everything is on track."
