The one stat that cannot be measured is probably the greatest.......Leadership, heart, and the will to win. Any team will respect Jake and play for him. This is why teams like New England do so well without having a "stud" at quarterback.

Does Deon Sanders have anything good to say about Jake? If I remember right he was one of the defensive players Jake completed a bunch of passes on in 1999

The New England Patriots Do have a Stud at QB by the name of Brady.

Jake would have done better because of his leadership qualities. I believe he could have brought them into the playoffs, despite the "Saints mentality".

I think Jake is a great QB but I really think Aaron brooks deserved to play in front of him in New Orleans I mean they faught for the position every year and Aaron won respectivley. Its not like it was given to Aaron because we all know Coaches play the Best QB to win especially in the NFL. Now, with Jake doing well in Carolina It makes alot of Delhome fans wonder if he should have been the starter in New Orleans and I say NO. I mean when he was a Saint it was his position to take while he was there.
I think it has alot to do with talent I mean any Qb in the NFL is good but in this time of age its all about luck and being in the right place at the right time and I think that is what happend and thats why he is doing so well. And I respect him for taking advantage of it and I hope he continues to do well.

I don't think AB ever had to win the job ULtxboy03. I remember coach haslett naming Aaron Brooks quarterback 2A before AB ever took a preseason snap for the Saints.

Yeah do u think there was a reason behind that decision ?? A NFL football coach naming his starter? Or did he just play favorites and not know what the heck he was doing ?

Face it, there was bias. They got AB from GB, gave him a lucrative contract and were bound, damned and determined he was going to be the starter ad infinitum. Can't say I really blame them for wanting to look good in obtaining AB, but after a while there should be some scrutiny, which, IMO, there never was.
