Well, my bad if that is what you meant. Yes he had a great run and I am sorry to see it end, but the Panthers really need a change. They need a new coach as well.

No doubt Jake is not his old self but what Carolina really needs most is better time machines.
Geaux Cajuns
My opinion from the outside...
Jake is Fox's man. Fox will stick with Jake to the end. That being said Carolina isn't a very good team. Its not all Jake's fault. I think they should go after Quinn and give him a restart to his career.
Fox has consistently been great one season, mediocre the next, then great, then mediocre.... it's a pretty obvious cycle.
He's seen his team without Jake, and that was a trainwreck.
Before Fox Carolina had one Great season, and the rest were awful.
Fox needs to win with Bill Cowher living in his backyard.
In 2006 the Saints were the 2nd best team in the NFC [like Carolina was last season] in 2007 & 2008, the Saints were horrible....
They kept their coach.
With all the %$#@ this weekend it is good to see a cajun pull out a "w". 90 yards passing and a touchdown. Not stellar numbers but the magic digit is 0 interceptions. Hopefully this will give Jake some confidence moving forward.
GEAUX (EX)Cajuns!!
Jake got injured in the game, I'm hoping he's back for next week, he has a history of being very good vs the saints. With that said, all 7 of his completions came in the first half, and he got injured in the second, if he hadn't gotten injured, he would have had probably between 150-200 yards.
As a Saints fan, I hope Jake plays next week. I smell a Sharper pick 6.
Be careful what you wish for. No matter how poorly he plays against the rest of the league, Jake generallly does well against the Saints. It is one of those inexplicable aspect of sports. Anyone know how severe his injury is. As he did not reenter the game, he may be out for awhile. Panthers right now are running the ball better than anyone and Peppers is coming on. Saints better give Bushrod some help in pass rush situations or Brees may be in danger. Everyone says the way to beat the Saints is to run the ball and keep the offense off the field. Carolina may actually be able to do that so I see that game being closer than most will predict. Of course the Saints have to worry about the Falcons tonight. That is another reason Carolina will be in that game. Short week for the Saints to prepare for them.
