But the master was Hap---He is credited with the Happy talk that now is so prevalent on local late night news---remember getting the player of week one time in HS and he was just a great interviewer-----people use to blast him for being for Tulane or Lsu leanings-- He told them that he didn't wear but one ring --Jesuit High School's----- He gave Lsu the Death Valley name---The story was that he found a job and went to the principal of Jesuit and told him he wanted in and how he was going to finance it--It was taken care of and Hap became a Jesuit alumnus as did Buddy years after!!!

I don't mean we as in me you and all cajun fans because not all cajun fans are panther fans, but we as in me and other panther fans. If jake retired tomorrow, I'd still be a panther fan. actually, I've been an advocate for years saying that we should draft a QB to learn from Jake and to take over for him soon because time is starting to catch up to him, unfortunately, we're sort of stuck with what we've got because we haven't drafted a qb in years and undrafted Matt Moore is our "future" right now, which I don't feel like he is capable of taking the reins.

You have no idea I am nothing if not honest... they have been good years for a&m but fortunately thats all at an end now.... The "Hat"'s players are now passing through and despite the lofty Recruiting rankings the evidence on the field is what I thought it was...

At the end of the last national Championship year it started to become obvious... a loss to an unranked ArKANSA team in "vaunted" Tigggeeer Stadium when all you had to do was beat an UNRANKED opponent to get to the game and you lose... then to the SEC Championship game where you struggle to beat a 19th ranked Tennesse team... you should NOT even have been in the big game but you were and beat probably the 9th or 10th best team at the time... but you did... kudos (Gawd did I say that?? ).. but the wheels are starting to wobble...

Then last year where the separation began... When you played top notch teams you not only get beat.. you get DESTROYED.... but then you go to a Bowl game and proved you are worthy of playing competitively in the ACC... Congrats on that

This year... UL.. a team that got absolutley embarrassed by a mid level Big 12 team competes very well against you... You were lucky to get out of Starkville of all places....

The era is over.... it will be remembered like 1958... I hope you are under 30 because if not this will be the last time in your lifetime you can gloat...
