Well dude, our football season is now officially OVER. Begin the 8 months of HELL!!!
Bummed about Paul
Happy about the Cajuns
Loss was pretty much all on JD. That was ugly.

I was worried the game was over when the Panthers scored on their first possession, and then proceeded to kick it out of bounds on the ensuing kickoff.

Man that was an ugly night for Jake. I feel bad for the guy. Some Carolina fans in their fit of rage said it seemed like Jake didn't care. We all know that is BS. The morning write up sounds like Carolina will be looking for a new QB.

I don't know about the picture but that is an example of the brand weakness created by marketing everything as Ragin' Cajuns.
You end up with the same problem you get from the last 2 headlines on RaginCajuns.com
- UL Can't Recover From Troy's Quick Start
- UL Ties School's 3-Point Record, Tops Troy
I know the headlines probably came from different writers but the left hand needs to know (or at least check) what the right hand is doing.

This will be a tough game to come back from. I'm sure he made a ton of enemies in North Carolina last night. Jake has defied long odds before, but this will be different. For the first time in his career, the fans will not be behind him.
I cannot ever remember feeling that bad for a pro athlete.
Jake had a bad day... a really bad day. Jake's about to get trashed severely. I've seen the balance of sports media not really liking his Cinderella Story. They didn't predict him, they didn't build him... so you can bet... they will disown him faster and harder than you can imagine. They never really liked Kurt Warner's rags to riches either. The national sports media is going to dismantle Jake's career over this game. Sad... but I believe true. The thing I like about Jake most... losing the game for his team massively bothered him... the media will not. A rare character quality in the days we live.
