Leave Uncle Jerry alone lol In all seriousness though Jerry needs to take a step back and realize he is the biggest problem. Hire a GM and let him have full control over personnel moves. The Boys have the most talent in the league but not talent that wants to work well with each other. The defense has a great front 7 to build around but the offense needs to be retooled with team first guys.

That is what happens when you have the backups', backups' in the game. Injuries killed the Saints at defensive backs this year.

Jake is now 8-2 as a starter against the Saints!

Yes Jerry Jones needs to step back, but I don't think he will. If he doesn't, in five to ten years, the Cowboys will be just like the Raiders are today. I'm thinking Jerry Jones is a young Al Davis.

I was at the game. Panthers dominated most of the game and won in spite of John Fox. Just llike the Giants game the week before the Panthers jump out to a big lead (which should have been larger had Fox not got it into his head to call plays designed to settle for field goals as soon as he crossed the 50) and Fox tries to sit on the lead for the final 2 - 3 quarters. It should never have come down to the wire like it did. I don't see the Panthers going deep into the playoffs but if they do I think it will be because of players like Jake, Steve Smith, Moose, Williams, etc making big plays out of nothing.

  8. Default Bionic Man: Delhomme bounces back in 2008

CHARLOTTE, North Carolina — Jake Delhomme’s critics have plenty of material to work with.

His arm isn’t that strong. He doesn’t move well. He seemingly throws balls up for grabs and receiver Steve Smith bails him out.

And why is he yelling at his teammates?

All that, and the fiery Delhomme has a 54-32 win-loss record in six seasons with the Carolina Panthers, including 5-2 in the NFL playoffs. He’s engineered 13 winning drives in the final two minutes of regulation and overtime, and has the Panthers awaiting a home playoff game on Jan. 10 — Delhomme’s 34th birthday — as the No. 2 seed in the NFC.

You can have both, Payton Manning, Tom Brady, Troy Aikman, Steve Young, Joe Montanna, and John Elway all had stats and Big Rings in the modern era.

In fact if you look at the history of the Super Bowl there are a lot more quarterbacks who have gaudy numbers winning, and participating in it than not.

I think Jakes stats are misleading. He makes big plays at the most critical of times. His coach does not want a passing offense and often Jake is in a bad down and yardage situation when asked to pass.
