Great play by Jake. He definitely has the 2 minute drill down! As for the Saints, that was an encouraging performance. If their D plays like that all year they will make the playoffs.
I'm already looking forward to the smack talk when the Saints-Panthers play.

Today is the 5th anniversary of Jake's first game as a Panther when he engineered his 1st game winning drive...

The only people bringing up the Jake/Saints angle are the people on this board. Saints fans moved past this mistake years ago. Know why? We now have one of the best QB's in the NFL playing for us. The mistake the Saints made with Jake is well chronicled and rightly put a lot of heat on Saints management. To their credit, they got rid of Brooks and engineered the acquisition of Brees. Barring injury Brees will go to multiple pro bowls and go down as the greatest Saints QB. My bet is that he will also bring them a Super Bowl.
In the end I think most Saints fans are happy Jake got his own gig and we ended up with Brees.

Don't try arguing with Pirouge or Z about Jake. Logic and reason do not apply in these situations. Good for Jake. Good for the Saints. Hopefully they both make the playoffs.

P.S. You said the Charers are arguably the best team in the AFC. As long as New Englad and Indianapolis have teams that is a tough argument at best.
