I knew one of our players was from "swaggin", I just couldn't remember which one. Too bad, with the Southwestern LA and Louisiana-Lafayette references this weekend on the Delhome / Stokely matchup, having an advocate of LOUISIANA would have been nice, especially on Jim Rome.

This has been discussed 100 times... it's not a big issue to me... but I do think it's a little bit of a snub on UL for Ike to know everyone else in the NFL mentions their university and he does not.

How do you know he refuses did you or anyone you know ask him?

To me, coming back to help with the Vermilion and White game is acknowledging the University.

Before Tillman (and there have been a few) "NO ONE" stated UL or any variation there of on MNF.

If you want to accuse Ike of not being the trendsetter that Charles is then OK but just because he has a cute little Taylorism that harms no one is not the same as not acknowledging the University and it certainly isn't derogatory.

He doesn’t deserve the backlash.
