It was discussed on Foote's show this morning extensively. My question would be what do you tell a parent who's kid it taking a drug (Aderall, Ritalin, etc) proscribed by a family physician from the age of 6 for ADHD issues that his education will have to suffer because his focus may be better on an athletic field?

The rule is for non Rx use. If you are taking it under doctors orders, you are fine.

Could you please provide a link for Glenn? It has gone viral that OU ace has been linked to adderall and there has been no suspension. I could be wrong but I think you are mixing up two different stories here....

You are right it is not a harmful drug, but it is severely over prescribed and ADHD is over diagnosed. But that is a whole other argument in itself.

Actually Frenchie you are wrong. It IS Oklahoma's pitcher that tested positive fo Adderal. Not LSU's Cody Glenn.

The Advertiser placed the subhead for the OU pitcher adderall story under the LSU headline because they're playing each other and now everyone thinks Cody Glenn took adderall

Cody Glenn did not take adderall. If you read the story, it says the reason for Glenn's suspension has not been released

Yep that was going to be my answer... The lsua&m@br system of discipline goes something like

1. Keep it quiet... best policy
2. If it involves a felony... here is a # you call.. it will all get swept away
3. If 1&2 don't work.... go to rehab...
4. After rehab repeat #1 and #2
5. After the 3rd iteration of 1...2...3 we will suspend you.....

There see how well we apply discipline!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gabriel had a very large amount of marijuana in his possession. Not the same as taking adderall
