Thread: UL catcher Lexie Elkins isn’t your typical sophomore

  1. Default UL catcher Lexie Elkins isn’t your typical sophomore

The deeper you go into the Lexie Elkins story, the more impressive her sophomore season for the UL Ragin’ Cajuns becomes.

For starters, this is her first season with the program, although she did spend last season at the college level at Texas Tech.

I think this is a very important realization and for Cajun fans as well.

(So while some may look at her first college season as wasted time, Elkins wouldn't agree.

"I don't regret it, because if I had just come straight here, I wouldn't have the appreciation for everything in this program that I do now," she explained.) advertiser quote.

She also commented how EVERYTHING is done different here. So in this case, that's not how we do it here, is a positive.

This is why I threw up a little when Mike was on sabatical for a little while. We recruit and develop. These other programs just recruit. I think that has been the experience of a lot of our transfers.

Do not go there we have a thread for that type of negative talk. LOL Yea I was very ill too and could not sleep for that period of time. Imagine getting a Lotief just like a weed eater at your local Ace Hardware. What a numb nut thought to express.

That was the part that stood out to me as well in the article.

What a good testimonial to our program.
