More than three years after cloud platform Heroku joined forces with Salesforce, the two companies have integrated their respective products. Heroku today launched Heroku Connect, a new service that syncs data from its customers’ cloud applications with their Salesforce CRM databases. Connect acts as go-between for consumer-facing Heroku, which powers app experiences like Lyft and Urban Dictionary, and Salesforce’s enterprise backend. Heroku released the beta for the service last year at the Dreamforce developer conference.
