NEW ORLEANS — University of Louisiana’s baseball team has its shoe – or, in their case, cleats – on the other foot this weekend.

One week ago, the Ragin’ Cajuns were playing a team ranked higher than themselves in the Sun Belt Conference race, and took two of three games from Florida International.

Beginning tonight, they’ll now face a team tied for the league cellar, one that’s looking up at the Cajun squad – but one that has found its stride over the past week.

The Cajuns (17-25, 8-7 Sun Belt) will also be on the road for this series, heading to Privateer Park to take on long-time rival New Orleans (20-21, 4-8 Sun Belt) in a three-game series beginning tonight at 6:30 p.m.
