I am not trying to hate on anyone, but I think both are a little childish. I know that saying or typing brokebackette is childish, but the time we spend on fighting over the same topics over and over is ridiculous. Take out the portions that are name threads, people in Refineryville not caring, administration sux, black is not a school color and others you could read the whole board from the last 12 months in about 45 minutes. I have no problem with anyone on the board that I know of and if I do oh well.

Mel, if I am not mistaken, I believe it was your old frat buddy, KH that came with the Brokeback first. Its a classic.

With great respect to all, I pray that we end up playing the team which will prepare us the best for WCWS play. Personally, i hope we see MSU in the winner's bracket semis and then Texas in the finals. MSU took one series game from Missouri (#15), Kentucky (#14), LSU (#25), 2 from Bama (#2) and Tennessee (#10). They lost to Kentucky in 9 innings at the SEC Tournament. They also dropped a 3-2 decision to South Alabama (#16) on the road. Not a bad day on the mound. *South Alabama and LSU's rankings are from regular season polls. Everyone else is National Seed rankings. As for the Supers - Who ever comes out of Tucson will be a challenge. I want our girls to win it all!!! GEAUX LADY GRINDERS!!!!!

So 2 Louisiana teams get sent out of state. What happened to reducing travel?

The reduced travel is not as emphasized as it once was. Right after 9-11 air travel was front and center and was high up the list on considerations. Today they seed 1-16 with little to no regard as far as geography. With a field of 64 you obviously have to fly some around but look at our regional. Everyone will be coming in via bus.
