    WOW! Isn't this fun?

PS Did you see how clutch the bullpen was tonight? SHUT THE DOOR in the 8th and 9th!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not saying it isn't fun. Hell, I'm enjoying the ride just as much as the next guy, but in the same token, I'll call a spade a spade. The bullpen has been struggling lately, and it genuinely worries me, especially once we get to regionals (and beyond) and play teams that are tougher than SBC teams. Like I said in a previous post, unless our bullpen finds a way to tighten up (and in a hurry), it will come back to haunt us later on down the road. There is NO excuse to blow a 7 run lead to a mediocre (at best) South Alabama ball club. Rant over. Geaux Cajuns.

I think Milhorn got his last chance and failed tonight. Wilson had a good game 1 and struggled in game 2. He's been our best reliever and got asked to throw twice in one day. That's very difficult. Bazar did a good job stopping the bleeding and shutting the door. No excuse tomorrow. Boutte gives us 6 and hicks, plitt and others need to bring home the sweep.

I'm probably less worried than most, primarily because our starters will be going deeper into games if they keep pitching well.

Aut would have gone 8-9 and Baranik 8-9 had this weekend been an NCAA regional.

Good point. There is a reason Robe is keeping close track of pitch counts for our starters.

....hopefully. Not saying you are wrong and it also crossed my mind. We do need someone to finish games, though. I guess his name is Harry.
