Where is former Kaplan High and UL standout Donald Richard now?
If you ask him, it's right where he belongs . as an assistant coach at Kaplan High trying his best to help restore the Pirates' winning tradition.
When asked to describe what the feeling was like during Friday's heart-stopping 42-41 loss at Cecilia, Richard got so excited that the words came much slower than the yards and receptions came during his playing days.
Sure, it ended up being a loss, but the atmosphere and level of playing reminded him of what Kaplan High football used to be like and he's convinced can return to.
