Where is former Kaplan High and UL standout Donald Richard now?
If you ask him, it's right where he belongs ... as an assistant coach at Kaplan High trying his best to help restore the Pirates' winning tradition.
When asked to describe what the feeling was like during Friday's heart-stopping 42-41 loss at Cecilia, Richard got so excited that the words came much slower than the yards and receptions came during his playing days.
Sure, it ended up being a loss, but the atmosphere and level of playing reminded him of what Kaplan High football used to be like and he's convinced can return to.
