She's a great player to emulate. Barbara Jordan pointed out that very few players could charge those bunts and have the ability to make the throws Walsh made up the line. She made those look routine.
It's easy to focus on how many runs we put up. But, those kind of defensive plays are huge in the post season. They can easily be the difference makers against regional level opponents.
Samantha Walsh is another UL player shafted by the coaches in the All-SB-C selections. She would be the cornerstone of almost every other team in the SB-C.
We probably need to let Benson and company know that in fact there are only two or three spots on the all everything that maybe, might, kinda could go to some other player.
