My sister wasn't at the game.
May have been her best friend. She was sttting next to BC. She's a former Warhoax athlete who decided to come to the game when she found out they were playing at 5. Don't worry, we gave her a hard time.
She said she was never forced to slide at first when she was on the team. Maybe it's a new thing that old ULM bag-of-bones is teaching her girls.
I agree with everyone about sliding dumb end first, but Voinche did it in the first game today. I'll chalk it up to enthusiasm by a young player vs. dumbass coaching by a "great coach" about to get to 750
One player doing it every once in a while vs. about 10 times a game is a big difference.
They robbed themselves of at least 4 hits in this tournament that I've seen, including one in their first game today.
And I bet when she got back to the dugout, Mike told her: "Run through 1st next time."
Exactly why I said it was a 1 time occurrence for us and a systemic problem for them. Just pointing out that it happened.
It's just bizarre to watch how little coaching goes on there. 30 years. 25 wins a season. Commitment to softball?
They're so fundamentally bad. Missing assignments all over the place. Can't someone coach them to cover first on a bunt? To call each other off on fly balls?
4 year old kids that hit off the tee have better fundamentals. It's just really weird.
I hope the Cajuns stomp USA tomorrow!
I love seeing their coach get all ____ed off!!
It was definitely a chess match out there today between Coach Mike and her. The wheels were turning!
Looks like Louisiana will be Home team tomorrow against USA!
