Heard you on Bird's Eye View this afternoon. Your thoughts about how the WKU "fans" are reacting to Sparks transfer were right on. Some of them need to grow up.

Thanks SwampFox!I can understand that the fans are disappointed about the kid leaving,but he signed with Felton.If Feton told the kid that he would be there during his eligibilty,then he has the right to leave if Felton moves on.College athletes don't owe fans squat!They go to certain institutions to play a sport and get a degree.If an athlete conducts himself or herself in a positive way during their time in the program,then it's not fair to personally attack the athlete because they want to leave the program.If a coach wants pull a scholarship at any time,they can.An athlete should be able to leave if they are not comfortable with the current situation.That's why you have conference rules that don't allow any athlete to transfer to any other instituion in the conference.But the athlete and his family have the right to make the decision to leave the institution if they want.We live in a free society.
