600????? what about a place like UCLA whos whole place holds like 1200.
also, are my two season tickets in the grand stand at risk ob being yanked for post season?
It is UCLA's choice whether or not to bid for a super-regional. Of course this season, they need not be concerned with such matters.
As for grandstand season ticket holders, obviously not everyone will be able to keep their season seats (but I would imagine other seats would be made available ... either in the grandstand based on priority order ... or in the bleacher sections). TV also may take some additional seating.

Mel, I think it's going to be more than just section H.
I always wondered what the numbers were. It seemed strange to watch super regionals and see large chunks of opposing fans in premium seats. I never realized they had such a large "held prime area". That takes a lot of the bite out of the regional and super regional home field advantage... unless you have a large stadium with a boisterously large fan base.
also, if the regional is 200 per team, at most per game youll only have two hundred from the other team in a sense.
so when the cajuns host a regional game and are playing in it, the other team will only get 200. it seems that it should be the same for a super.
You are probably correct Matt spoke at the Diamond Club Luncheon, but that was 3 weeks agon now and I really do not remember what sections or the number of sections. I believe he said the top two rows of two sections.
I do know that those people that are being displaced will be accompated with other seats.
Sorry for all of the confussion I should've just kept my mouth shut. Hopefully I can make back down from Indy for the final home stand vs ULM.
Geuax Cajuns!
I think a super regional, being that only two programs are vying for a CWS berth... you would offer more seats to the visiting program. Also, in matters of bidding, there may be some argument for hotel/restaurant businesses (some of which are your supporters) wanting the revenue from the out of towners.
The "other team" can also buy tickets not alloted in that 200. The NCAA is just making sure the host site holds x amount up to a reasonable time before the event. There are plenty of regionals and certainly supers that the visiting team will bring more than 200 fans. UL has always had more than 200 fans at regionals and the nearby supers we participated in.
